Writers Re write

After a long long abscence I is back.

What Have I been doing? Well, after getting slaughtered on the writing course in summer 2005, I applied for an MA, missed that and so got on an Open University Creative Writing Course. This ran from Feb - Oct 2006 and was pretty good at getting over some skills- and meeting lots of folk- even if most of them were online! I also joined a writers group and got on the MA- wot I have started- Fiction and Script Writing being my options.

Never done script writing before- but wot the hell.... although words such as 'bit off' and 'more than I can chew?' spring to mind as I struggle with a 3000 word essay, a 6000 word essay + crit, a 10 minute script- all for around Christmas.

Do I like a challenge or do I not? Hmmmmmm.....

Needless to say book is on the back burner although I had tinkered with it a tad and have some ideas lurking in the back of my brain. Never did get on a film set despite writing, phoning and so forth - miserable buggers. Do they think I am a spy for a salacious magazine? No no no!!!! I am sure you would give me impeccable references Blogspot- you know my credentials..... So, until I can give up the day job, and I can creep around a bit more said novel will probably stay lurking.

Anyway that pic is me- its the best that I can do with limited equipment. It was taken in a dark dark restaurant in Prague at Christmas. Great place to head for seasonal celebrations.

Anyway might post a few writings or poems on here, depending upon pressures. But just thought I would bring the blog up to date.
